真诚学生（GS）要求取代真诚临时入境者（GTE）要求

Genuine Student (GS) Requirement Replaces Genuine Temporary Entrant

自2024年3月23日起，500类学生签证申请以真诚学生（GS）要求取代真诚临时入境者（GTE）测试。与GTE不同，GS不会因申请人日后可能申请永居而对其不利。

From 23 March 2024 the Genuine Student (GS) requirement replaced the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) test for subclass 500 student visa applications. Unlike GTE, GS does not penalise applicants who may later seek permanent residence.
